Itinerary

Arrive in Moshi, where you’ll be transferred to your hotel for a pre-trek briefing. Rest and prepare for the adventure ahead.

The trail steepens as you trek through the forest and into the moorland. You’ll be rewarded with stunning views of Mount Meru and the surrounding valleys as you approach Barranco Camp.

Conquer the famous Barranco Wall, a challenging but rewarding scramble. You’ll then descend into the Karanga Valley before reaching Karanga Camp, where you’ll rest before your final ascent.

After a short but steep trek, you’ll arrive at Barafu Camp, the base camp for the summit. Rest here before making your final push to the peak at midnight.

Start your summit climb in the early hours, reaching Uhuru Peak just in time for sunrise. After celebrating at the top of Africa, you’ll descend back down to Mweka Camp for a well-earned rest.
